Hey Coach, why do I keep seeing the kiddie raper, who I actually walked in on anally raping a kid in the team shower, bringing kids to watch practice? I mean, one of these days I may get the idea that the administration swept the whole thing under the rug and go straight to the police myself...maybe.

The incident with the graduate assistant witness happened in 2002, which is the most recent incident documented in the report. However, given:

1. The guy just got busted now.
2. The general rule with these types of cases is that anything you know about is just the tip of the iceberg.
3. The guy has already proven he's willing to go to extreme lengths to fulfill his desires.

I would lay pretty big odds that there have been more incidents since 2002.

i see what you're saying, and while some could be that calculating in that spot, others would just react, and at minimum say enough to make it stop, and probably go crush the 60 year old's skull onto the shower floor.

i've been reading this thread since last night, and i have goosebumps at how pissed i am. i am very close to my friend's almost-10-year-old son, so i'm obviously envisioning him in all this.

this is probably the most despicable thing i've ever read. the coverup is bad, but people saying that it's worse than the crime are insane. this guy strategically put himself into a position where he could anally rape 10 year old boys.

then, when it came out, the university not only ignored it, but ALLOWED IT TO CONTINUE.

i don't know what's going to happen, but if everyone involved were shot and killed in front of me, i would spit on their corpses.

dan lebatard made a couple good points though...if someone comes to you with sketchy/choppy info that your best friend of 25 years raped a boy, basically the worst crime imaginable, and your best friend adamantly denied it, what do you do? because going to the cops in that spot, you HAVE to be sure.

then about an hour ago, i began taking my rage out on a co-worker who is a psu fan. he's basically shrugging it off on some 'yeah that's old news', and even left an 'lol' after a text about how psu let the kid go on a bowl trip after they knew..i'm seeing red right now. the .pdf is some DAMNING stuff. even if you don't want to out your best friend, you KNOW he's being accused of raping young boys and CONSTANTLY HAS YOUNG BOYS AROUND.

im pretty sure on emotional ruin scale, walking in on the shower rape is less traumatic than finding someone post suicide

does anybody know if the boys in Sandusky's org. were orphans? I just don't understand how this could've been hushed up for so long by so many people. None of these boys had a parent? None of these boys had ANYBODY who "cared" about them other than Sandusky? My God, my little boy was 10 once. All the background ramifications of this story are just puke-worthy.

The molestation continued well after 2002, when McCreary saw what he saw. The case that sparked the grand jury investigation was the result of an incident that was reported in 2008. The grand jury transcripts talk about incidents that occurred throughout that time with various victims.

With the rapings continuing after 2002 the GA deserves criminal charges for sure. He could have prevented the further rapings.

The law is anyone who knows and doesn't tell police needs to go to jail I think. Should result in several people going away. Needs to be super draconian to send the right message.

The articles I've read suggest its illegal to not report the crime to police.

One of the boys' mom noticed that her son's hair was wet when he got dropped off at home, when she questioned him about it he said that Sandusky and he showered together and they hugged or something. She confronted Sandusky about it and tried to get him to promise to never shower with boys again. Seriously.

Really? Does this go for any crime? If so I imagine almost everyone (quite literally) is guilty of this crime.
