I don't know why you are bringing this up because it has nothing to do with the situation. Any person that has even a scrap of decency would have behaved differently than he did. It really doesn't matter to me that this happened at Penn St. instead of Idaho. The status of the person involved has little to no bearing on how they should have responded to this situation.

I need to read this thread sober tomorrow, but man idk whats going on. if people are guilty for sure 100% then people need serious jail time. if this is still unsettled in court then people need to stop ****ing speculating and let people get their fair shot in court.

I'm not as ready to come down on Joe Pa as most. He hears a thing about his former DC and reports it, doesn't hear anything more and assumes it was BS- I mean it's a pretty amazing claim and if he honestly knew the guy forever and was prone to not buy it- I can see his interpreting a lack of action from above as confirmation that it wasn't a legit complaint. I assume a guy who has been coaching as long as he has, in a sport with as much crazy around it as college football, he's probably been told any number of insane things about his staff, most of which weren't true.

What it sounds like he did isn't what I'd do, and I wouldn't say I agree with his apparent choices, but I can see an interpretation where he's not a monster.
