Brady claims he had no idea or knowledge or wrong doing. so how could he say this publicly if he thought there was a chance he would be outed later? I guess that happens (Palmeiro) but seems like such an odd tact to take for an image conscious guy like Brady. he could have just gone with "no comment".

and BB seemed legit like he had no idea and seemed legit angry about the whole thing.

so if there was tom-foolery going on and it comes out that someone claims Brady told him to do it, maybe Brady figures worst case is it turns into a he said/she said situation where Brady claims whoever who he was in cahoots with is lying.

I still guess that the inspection pre-game was just sloppy, the balls weren't weighed right or at all (just cursory inspection) and then the pressure drops naturally

but who knows, Brady sure seemed nervous for someone who is innocent
