I am a Pats fan. I think they probably doctored the footballs in someway that wouldn't fall within the league rules. I do think it's funny that quiet Bellicheck reads a prepared statement and doesn't take any questions and ESPN finds him super earnest and believable. Then Brady does a 30 minutes news conference getting asked the same loaded questions over and over again and people think it's he comes off worse and the media wants to flat out call him a liar.

Some of the early talking points as far it not being believable that he wouldn't notice the difference in the second half balls don't seem all that crazy to me. Questionable sure, but it's not far fetched to think the process is different pregame when you specially are examining balls versus the start of the second half when you aren't conditioned to think about or pay attention to that anymore and you are focused on the super bowl.
