COG, you're a good dude, but it's not so much against slack but more against the idea of taking away from 2p2 and more specifically, SE.
People can try to act like it's all fun and games, but I've spent about 10 years here (and most of you have, if not more!)...and that's a big chunk of my life! The person I was when I started posting here is a very different person now. Not all of that is a function of my participation in SE, but I think a good chunk of it is, including my newly acquired beer belly
To my previous point -- I'm all for banning posters, but why does the
tolerance line keep getting lower and lower by the year, when it should be going the opposite direction? Furthermore, I understand that nothing bonds people more than having (or creating) a mutual enemy; but that isn't going to result in a better SE. And that's why I think this specific thread is toxic.
Who actually wants a better SE? What is a better SE? What would ACTUALLY make SE better? (assuming that's what we all want)
