Not that it's the same, but I played catcher my first two years in college, and I don't think I ever called pitches based on the score, and don't think I have ever heard that in any of the camps I ever went to. Obviously not the same, maybe the big leagues are different.
I like you Eddy, but your second paragraph bolsters that wins aren't worth much.
The whole argument is that they pitch to the score so don't knock them for a high WHIP/ERA if they get winzzzzz.
