Its a tough spot because if a mods or some posters who dont like a certain poster, they shouldnt be able to have them banned if they stay in the rules, its just not fair.

however, I think for a certain poster to be banned for being "terrible" (not technically breaking any rules) you should have a vote of all the "regs" and if the vote eclipses a certain number like 75% or 80%, then its fair to consider them a cancer to the forum.

this is the fairest thing I can think of, like we can create a "hall of shame" for people who can be exiled. You can be put up for voting at any point if you have a certain concrete number of posts/have been active. i believe that you should have some sort of chance or time to redeem yourself, but obv if your here for awhile and still dont get it or heed warnings, then to bad for that poster.

It wouldn't work - he PMs an asston of people constantly trying to befriend them or carry on about what some evil moderator did or otherwise play weird forum politics. He'd find out in hours.

Another downside to this is that when others don't respond to his posts he'll get the idea that they're implicitly agreeing with him.

lawl, i really dont think your that stupid and are just trolling. anyway though, what happened to me in oot was that killa and stabn (or w/e one reg he consulted) created a list that to all the regs most posters werent even known to them. It wasnt a list that was generated by the regs or a majority of the posters.

most of the people on the list dont post there much at all, personally citanul looked it up and i averaged 2-3 posts a day there, haha. Also I had only been banned for one day there all year, and never got a PM from the mods saying telling me im terrible or why. I challenged people in the thread to dig up any posts I made that were bad and deserving of being exiled and no one has been able to produce any tangible evidence.

by most accounts the list itself was terrible and subjective. not only that, but one person survives so at the start a persons chances are 20 percent or something, so can you really not see the difference between that and wht i purposed? if not then then alzheimers has deteriorated your brain more that i thought.

its not that your voting on who deserves to be exiled, but who deserves more to say in that system. Ask them how they fell out there decision by the way, they guy they picked is a moron and has caused nothing but trouble since. The whole situation is funny to me and i havent even been over there to browse more than a few times, it really has a negligible impact on my life, but thanks for playing!
