Arrow Olympics: RIO Trainwreck Containment - Lochte and others, whatever

Apparently this is going to make Sochi look six sigma. All kinds of **** isn't built yet, the country is a total **** show, Zika, corruption, depression. Maybe better than Qatar?

Two skydivers have fallen to their deaths while performing an Olympic Rings aerial routine in Brazil.

A group of 28 skydivers had attempted to recreate the five Olympic rings while in freefall over Boituva, a town 72 miles west of São Paulo.

Boituva Fire Department told G1 the two men collided mid-air when it is believed their parachutes became intertwined, causing their fall.

Rio's horror week: Body parts wash up near Olympics beach volleyball site

(CNN)With just 36 days to go before the Rio Olympics kick off, the situation in the host city just went from bad to worse.

A beach goer Wednesday discovered human body parts that had washed up on the shore, right in front of the Olympic Beach Volleyball Arena on Rio's famed Copacabana beach.

A dismembered foot and another body part still unidentified was found, according to Andre Luiz, an officer of the Military Police. Police believe the victim was a woman or young adult.

VISITORS to this summer's Rio Olympic Games in Brazil have been warned not to get ill during their stay because the country "has no hospitals".

Fans flocking to the sporting extravaganza in Rio de Janeiro were greeted by a sign at the city's airport saying "welcome to hell" and warning them emergency services are understaffed and underpaid.

The shocking development is just the latest blow to hit the beleaguered Olympic Games, which has been dogged by accusations of incompetence, corruption and fears Brazil is not fully ready to stage the event.

He says the state is still awaiting a 2.9 billion Brazilian real ($860 million) payout from the federal government aimed at shoring up state coffers ahead of the event.

The metro line that was meant to ferry tourists to the main Olympic venue in western Rio is still not ready. And Dornelles has warned that there's only enough gas money to continue police patrols through the end of this week. Dornelles is quoted as saying, "without security and without the metro there will be difficulties."

Im pretty sure most people assumed Brazil wouldnt be very safe already. Favela anyone?

Its still a 3rd world country. How they won the olympic games anyway is mind blowing. Would have taken a staggering LOLtastic amount of corruption. But the olympics and corruption go hand in hand. Its like the World Cup.

trying to host WC and Olympics back to back is just audaciously stupid and short-sighted.

It's probably like -110 for there to be an actual trainwreck at this point.

Having attended the most recent summer Olympics in the USA, I'm 100% sure this one will be more fun.

I have a friend who's competing who went over a few weeks ago. She said the stadium she's supposed to be competing in wasn't close to being finished and the traffic was ridiculous even without the tourists.

As long as the beach volleyball courts are setup, it'll be fine imo.

Lol, I opened this thread actually expecting it to be about a train crashing in Rio because of infrastructure failures.
