Re: London 2012 Olympics Games

Allison's bigger boobs save the day. (Allison Felix has #2 on her hip)

i watched this event a couple days ago and was like "whoa" looks like a tie to me but they gave it to Jeneba Tarmoh who like all the other brainless airheads went on to thank God for delivering the win for her.

so anyway i see they reversed the decision and it's now a tie

(CNN) -- With three places up for grabs on the U.S. Olympic track team, two women tied for third place in the women's 100 meters over the weekend -- crossing the line at exactly the same time -- which means the coveted Olympic spot could be decided by a coin toss.

Sprinters Allyson Felix and Jeneba Tarmoh threw their bodies across the finish line so evenly matched that cameras recording 3,000 frames a second couldn't tell who beat whom.

Re: London 2012 Olympics Games

Yea surely it's more fair to decide by a coinflip or they could race again a few minutes later?

Olympics is a snoozefest anyway, maybe slightly more interesting that it's held in the UK this time.

I hope they both pick the coinflip. They train for the opportunity their entire lives, tie and in the end think 50/50 is the best chance they have. Would be awesome

They don't play the sport "one time." There are dozens of competitions for almost all Olympic sports. In fact, in some Olympic sports, the Olympic version isn't even that important. (E.g., the cycling road race, tennis, soccer).

i can sort of see what hes saying about some of the competitions, i mean who cares if u can throw a disc really far

but then, i'd rather be really good at throwing a disc really far than really good at MADDEN

Re: London 2012 Olympics Games

they should make them both run a separate 100M and see who has the better time. less pressure that way; i don't like pressure.

Allyson gets off to a slow start but steam rolls her at the end. if the race was 12 inches longer Allyson would be clear winner

2012 U.S. Olympic Trials: women's 100m FINAL (race starts at 4 min 22 sec)

Allyson Felix Devastated After Her "4th Place" Finish at the 2012 US Olympic Track Trials http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfxI8...eature=related

Carmelita Jeter should be clear favorite for gold

World Championship 2011 Women's 100M Final

odds for men's 100m..... Usain Bolt runaway favorite of course.....USA has to hope for a Bronze but it's 50/50 at this point
