website crashed in the final few hours of ticket sales what a surprise.

website was working again at 11:45 and the deadline was extended to 1am.

but ya it is a joke. and the joke is on me if i have to pay for all the tickets i applied for.

An official facility to resell unwanted tickets will be established next year. Pretty sure this was not mentioned before the deadline. Suspect that was deliberate to discourage people from applying for loads of tickets. I'd certainly have gone for more than three events if I'd known I could resell.

it was mentioned in many many places though perhaps not on the official site. i imagine it will involve a ton of eating of fees.

£981 in tickets from a £4000 order, not to bad I suppose. Some of my friends got <5% of what they ordered.

100m final was x50 oversubscribed... not that shocked so many people missed out. I found you could buy tickets for events via a Hungarian website too - under EU law they have to sell to you. Hoping to pick up a couple more with them but even they stopped selling now.
