I'm pretty much avoiding any highlights of the game. This might have actually saved a contract I have to draft for Monday...now I can attempt to ignore the Bengals and the Reds Sunday.

Unfortunately I managed to hear a quote from Utley, "I felt like I thought it hit me" or something along those lines.

If this was the Yankees versus the Phils we would already have a cool nickname for a scandal and ESPN would be interviewing witnesses/"experts" and be debating instant replay.

Entirely not true.

We are entitled to think we were the best NL team the prev 2 years and we are also the best this year. This obv DOESN'T mean will will win the NL but I like our chances....not because we are entitled but because we are in fact the best team. Again, that said we are the favorite and have a great chance...not that we will win. Saying we are better than the Reds/Giants and Braves isn't cocky. It's simply the truth.

Those saying anything diff is a clear "haters gonna hate" sentiment.

What a sick night....Phils and Eagles on. I am NOT going to be in good shape tomorrow morning when the alarm goes off at 7am.

Well you are clearly wrong since Yankees are obviously the most hated team (and most loved too). Also, the Phils are probably the 3rd or 4th in the NL and thats solely b/c of their recent success. There is still a ton of hatred for the Dodgers and Cubbies out there. I guess it might be more concentrated in Cincy b/c the Red's biggest rival historically has been LA though.
