Why don't you just stop posting in this thread, Champ.

Never seen that except from maybe real homer/superstitious announcers. Like every game they cut to on MLB Network in the 9th or whatever they say something like "He's 2 outs away from a no hitter!" or something.

Frowned upon to talk about in the dugout or over the stadiums PA system or something, yeah.

Are you serious? This isn't some dude making his first start after Tommy John. Halladay can easily throw 25 more pitches and be fine.

I am not sure if this Roy Halladay fellow can pitch in October with no experience.

I'm confused...am I too drunk to realize the "pull him" stuff is a level? I do see some reverse jinx stuff but TD is baffling me.

I mean he's been on 6 days rest since early Sept....and this is on 8 days rest. He can throw 105 pitches...jesus.

Pull him? hahaha. He's on like 8+ days rest and has 87 pitches. Also, if there is a game 4 he's on full 4 days rest. GTFO

Why doesn't one of the Cincinnati Reds just yell out to Halladay at the start of the next inning "Hey, you know you're pitching a no hitter right?"

Cause apparently once he knows he's pitching one he will blow it instantly.

Well, yeah. But he can be 100% fine if he gives up a hit and is pulled from the game. I am under the assumption the Phils are going to a 3man rotation for the playoffs. That means in the NLCS and WS (all if necessary) he'd be going on 3 days rest and could potentially start 3 games/series. It's not like he didn't lead the league in innings pitched or anything

Whether or not it is going to work, you aren't doing your job if you don't at least try to rattle him or break up his concentration or something. Saying it is a "scumbag move" is ridiculous. Exactly what they should be doing.
