Not sure how many of you watched hockey avidly in 1993 (probably at least 2/3's), but is this not setting up for a repeat of that?

Something like Leafs vs Pens in a war in round 2 and Pens limp out or Leafs somehow win

Bruins/Sens destroy each other and Habs run them over round 2. Sets Habs up for conference finals layup, maybe even against the young Leafs.

Other side of the bracket the elite teams dropping like flies. I know it's early, but Habs-Oilers or Habs-Blues/Preds kind of finals seems pretty likely. And may all come back to that goal with under 20 seconds left. Crazy.

'86 and '93 are a stain on history of the NHL. It is the epitaph of the luckiest franchise in pro sports history. Absolute crap teams that ran a hotter than the sun goalie to the cup.
