Re: NHL Eastern Conference Finals 2013: BRUINS v. PENS

props to the bruins for a great series.

A few lucky goals and holds, but overall very good job. To be fair, I dont think the penguins played that bad (cept the goalers g1 and 2) and deserved slightly better, but cant argue with a clean sweep. Tukka is sick. Luckboxing random tim thomas beast for a feast and then getting tukka for sale 90% off? Dayum, that is a huge booster to an already good deep team.

Now I just hope you guys dont get ahead of yourselves and actually win the cup, that would really suck.

Remind me again how well this strategy worked out in Turin, when we took Doan and Draper ahead of some kids named Staal, Spezza and Crosby.

(And I ****ing love Shane Doan)

Crosby still has more RANGZ since 2005 than the entire franchise of the Philadelphia Flyers, so this is all really quite moot.

Edit: he was also asked if the Bruins were inspired by him choosing the Pens over them and he did say that may have inspired the Bruins a bit more to beat them. But again it wasn't disrespectful at all.

I've been debating the past couple of days if I'm pissed that Crosby/Malkin/Fleury/etc have a ring, or if it makes their recent exposure as heartless frauds even better.

I'll +1 Doug Murray not being terrible. He is slow but I don't cringe when I see him on the ice. He at least seems to try every shift.

GG Bruins, we suck. Time to find a new avatar.

Re: NHL Eastern Conference Finals 2013: BRUINS v. PENS

As funny as it may be, Chara crosschecking Krejci there shows just how present and quickly thinking he is in that moment. He is reacting to everything. Time slows down for you, and you do whatever it takes to do what you need to do. This clearly worked for him too with that hand save. It's pretty intense when you get into a moment where you are processing stuff like 10x quicker than normal. That is Chara actually, physiologically going into true beast mode.
