I think the drop-off is actually fairly large considering Rask is a top 3 goalie and is only 26. The value is fairly good at this point and I would have snap called if he fell to me.
Agreed, I don't think it's as spewy as some people think... arguable though.
They should call the penalty bench the Skinner box because if you touch him, you end up there. One of the leaders in penalties drawn since coming into the league, Skinner is not only a world-class flopper but a hockey player as well. He's already scored 30 goals in a season and probably will again. Yeah, last year's 13 goal season might be disappointing, but he played 42 games and he turned 21 2 months ago. He's a legitimate 25-30 goal man with the chance of developing into an elite scorer, and I get his entire prime and the beginning of his decline. He was drafted as a possible center but I don't think he'll stick there, so I'll put him at wing.
ok well i thought about going a few different ways with this, eventually settled on picking up one of the premier goal scorers in the league, and a very effective 2-way player, and proven winner that fits in with the team i'm trying to build here. you know him, you hate him, it's...
Spoiler:
RW - Corey Perry
yeah he had a bad season last year by his standards, and hasn't been amazing since winning the Hart Trophy in 2011, but excluding his first 2 seasons when he was only playing 12mpg, he's been a 36g/82gp man for his career. he's vicious in the cycle game, but can really play all over and any way you want. and yeah he's dive to win some PPs, and agitate the hell out of everyone. he just does what it takes to win games. and at a young 28, having just turned it in May, he's a welcome addition to my squad.
In his three years in the NHL Stepan has never missed a regular season game (82,82,48). His point totals have increased every year he has been in the league, and in the lockout shortened season he was on pace for career highs in goals (18), assists (26), points (44), and plus/minus rating (+25). Stepan is is a great two way forward who can contribute on the defensive end of the ice as well and will anchor down the first line. He spends very little time in the penalty box and logs almost 21 minutes of ice time per game.
Game 5 against Boston he took a slapshot to the face, doesn't miss a shift and next time out on the ice takes a stick to the face. Tough dude.
Up 2nd. I'll be around on my phone, just won't remember my guy's name. Can just post my back up pick's name from out. Didn't bother to do a write-up on him. Thanks.
With the 46th pick in the NHL Dynasty Draft, JM3 proudly adds another elite young player.
3rd pick in 2012 NHL Draft.
Received good rotational minutes as an 18 y/o rookie.
Stellar +14.
C Alex Galchenyuk, Montreal Canadiens, 19 y/o
"Galchenyuk will be the big number one center that the Montreal Canadiens have needed for a very long time and is a superstar in the making."
"A smart and creative center with very good puck skills. Galchenyuk moves the puck well in high speed and has quick feet. A constant scoring threat and can set up nice plays. Fairly reliable defensively."
He is such an awesome talent that he inspired this YouTube video:
