10-year dynasty means what for this? i mean you draft a guy who is like 35, then what?
he retires and a replacement-level player takes his spot?
is there any kind of entry level or supplemental draft later, or is this it?

Players age, they retire, etc. Think of it like this - if we are re-drafting the NHL as it currently stands and we want to be the best we can be over a 10-year period. Will have to see what type of players are around at the end of round 1, but ill probably want to move my #27 + later pick for someones 2nd and 3rd round picks, so keep in mind if interested

I will listen to all offers to trade down from my current spot. I can pick the wrong person later just as early as I can 7th. I'll need some nice excess value, though, especially based on the fact that the ABBA stuff would lead me to believe that drafting in the beginning is supposed to be some sort of advantage.
