The Boston-Ottawa series is the one I care least about. Can't see either of those teams making it passed the second round.

I'm super excited for these playoffs though. I have a feeling that it's going to be epic, especially if there is a battle of Alberta in the second round. Can't wait for the games to begins.
Going to be a lot of good hockey to watch.

Closest series in the East will be Pitt-CBJ

Other than that, Mtl and Caps all day.

West is harder to predict.

Hawks-Nsh will go the distance I believe.

Minny and Anaheim

You seem like a realist, so I am curious on what you think.

Pretty tough to say with the lips being so tight on the injury front. But 7 games seems pretty likely to me, and how it falls beyond that may be just a bounce of the puck. Pretty big unknown in terms of how McAvoy will due as QB of the PP in Krug's place.

Columbus looked terrible, I can't see that series going very long if Pittsburgh has any discipline. 4 or 5, I would be surprised to see 6.

Columbus got two quick goals on the Jets by playing conservative hockey and spotting errors, but they played most of the game trapped in their own zone, unable to win any battles, second to every puck.

Here's Pittsburgh game plan whenever I've seen them: First they try to out-skate you, if they can't do that they try to out-hit you, if they can't do that they dive, dive, dive.

But they will not have any trouble out-skating the Blue Jackets, they will have them stymied.

What's a fair line for Canadian team wins vs American opponent wins in the first round?

I think Canada +4.5

We have Toronto that will lose in 4 or 5.
Bos/Ana should beat Ott/Cgy.
Edm is a flip.
Mtl should win in 6 or 7.
