They are bad in every advanced stats category and their puck luck is is through the roof. Also, Anderson is playing way above is head this season; this won't last since he's a forever average goalie.

If we look at who's out right now, it seems like Tampa will easily be the best team not to make the playoffs.

They also have two goalies they can win with. So if your stats are saying this is a poor team then your stats are wrong.

Big hugs for the Jets tonight! Habs you did ok. (maybe it's goal diff? who knows...)

It's Regulation and Ot Wins. Sens must have a ton of shootout wins and Leafs only have 1. See ROW category.

That's the card you want to play?

Sens are literally the only "playoff" team with a negative goal differential. You wanna go into the playoffs with the #23 PK and the #18 PP, while being #22 in GF/game? And all this with the backdrop of your goalies starting to poop themselves?
Spoiler:

If the season was 10 days longer you probably miss. You still might!

It was true when I said it. I think you are just mad the the Sens beat Boston in their last game last year to keep them out of the playoffs. Sens are 1 point behind with two games in hand, your team isn't in the best of positions.

You shouldn't get bent out shape from past chokes when you have a fresh chance to choke this year.

Legit honest question Johny. If the season was 4 games longer, you think you make the playoffs? Be honest when you answer.

I ask as a concerned fellow NHL fan, granted one whose team has won 5 straight. Btw I do respect the fact that Ottawa is a proven playoff team, and one that doesn't have a rep for past great teams choking in the playoffs as favorites.

I know its not going good atm, but they are this time missing their top three d men. If you don't watch many Sens games then you probably don't know how important Methot is to the team. His work is done quietly without much fanfare but he is the cornerstone of their defense imo.

To answer your question, if they don't get some of their D back they are in trouble. Its not choking, not very many teams are going to be running good without their most important players.

Johny I'm not saying anything that Simmer or the others on 1200 aren't saying, I know you listen to them too. This whole time you've been acting like I'm the only one saying the Sens have been playing bad hockey for some time now (maybe they got comfortable given the seeding rules). I'm not even giving hot takes amongst your own fanbase right now. You know darn well half the people here in Ottawa are in panic mode. Remember, I live here

Why is the Chicago circle bigger than the Washington circle?

Also, looked like OV left his skates a little bit on the Werenski hit.

Circle size is meant to represent points lost due to injuries. Not sure how much you can really put into it, other than using it as a general guide to see the bigger the circle, the better the players that were injured are.

Not enough talk itt about Quick putting forward a contender for the legit GOAT save last night. Never seen a save like that before.
