The problem is that the team he has to put onto the ice isn't good enough, which is the managements fault, but the management knew this was going to happen when they went all in on a window, and no way are they fired. So not much is going to happen but mediocrity for a few years, then another rebuild for a few years, then 2025 champs. Only way that script is broken is if they have a bottom 5 team in league year, causing a coach firing, but the new coach will have the same meh team so not much will change
