They didn't pay anything for Iginla. They did for Bishop but I don't think Erik Cernak is going to be a guy you miss.

pretty shocked that trading for a backup goalie and 2017 Jarome didn't turn out to be plan the parade moves. pretty shameful to be wasting Doty's prime like this, and a possibly a final great year from Carter. fire everyone indeed.

as for the Leafs, they obv shouldn't be too torn up if they miss the playoffs. add another lottery pick, clear some dead weight, move on. they'll be a playoff fixture for a long time, sadly.

Is the West vs East dominance over now? What's the H2H record this year cross-conference? Seems like the demise of the Kangz, Nucks and Blues has really taken out a lot of the bite from the West.
