and speaking of which, the Canucks have a road b2b with the Avs & Coyotes = fun times in gamboooooling!
related notes:
- the Avs are the worst home team in the league by a mile, half as many wins as the next worst teams (Coyotes, Devils, Wangz)
- the Canucks are one of the worst road teams in the league, so these 2 games are those fun resistible force vs movable object ones
- Canucks actually played a good road game against the excellent Blackhawks the other day, and i think in the few games before that too, but i can't even remember for sure lol
- the Canucks have been off since Sunday
- Matt Duchene will be back in the lineup for the Avs tonight
- the Canucks surprised me by going with Markstrom tonight and Miller tomorrow most likely, i assumed it'd be the other way around, but actually the 2 goalies are far closer than i thought, and Markstrom has been much better on the road this season, so ...
interesting!
- the Avs are riding a 4-game home losing streak, and are 1-8-1 in their last 10 ... but even the worst teams win
sometimes, and this is kind of a great spot for that, so...
- the Coyotes are riding a 2-game home winning streak, having defeated the Florida teams
- Shane Doan is questionable for tomorrow
- the Coyotes should be well rested for this game, 2 full days off sitting at home vs a team who played in Denver the night before
conclusion: if you like to live dangerously, bet the Canucks tonight and Coyotes tomorrow, but beware of the tVC's love of playing more than 60 minutes per night, though you're all probably way better off ignoring all of this and just not wagering, because it definitely won't play out like i predict it will, it just never seems to with this team
