Jets sign Trouba to bridge deal.

2 years: 2.5M (prorated this year) and 3.5M next year.

Possible talks of sign and trade. If Trouba really wants out of Winnipeg may have accepted less since he'll be easier to move at that cheap price.

donk Murray seems like exactly the type to simultaneously overrate JT and underrate HL

Jets get their L/R swap

though the Ducks' still have the problem of Kevin Bieksa on that NTC heading into the expansion draft lol, so maybe they'd rather have a forward for their good young dmen? not sure if they have any plan for this whole thing or not

lol ya i was kinda thinking that myself

plus he can negotiate a contract extension starting July 1st

and tbf would be a good leader type for an expansion team
and a good promotional guy for Vegas, he's pretty damn entertaining for a Canadian hockey player
if he wants to stay in Anaheim there's not much they can do
but if he can get another 2-3 years out of it from Vegas, maybe?

All of this is just magnification to make the drama seem more valid. PS, the canucks have never won a cup, so bringing up winning anything isn't saying much. Maybe if the Sedin sisters could fight, guys like Kadri wouldn't be as comfortable running them.

Didn't Daniel literally score on that shot to make it 5-3? It was also a hit in the slot to try to prevent a goal and would have been successful if it was 0.1s faster. It was a marginally high but he hits shoulder first and if Daniel's helmet stays on he doesn't smack his head off the ice and jumps back up to celebrate immediately and it's barely noticed as a hit.

There are some unnecessary hits in games, but in the slot trying to prevent a goal with an entire period left to play is not one of them. Especially with how many 3rd period leads the Leafs have blown this year.

Lehtonen having trouble staying still during the anthems.

You would think someone in Winnipeg would know how to make ice, and that someone would be employed at the highest level.

They said the other day one of the improvements they made at the MTS Centre, about last year, was replacing the PVC pipes, like they have in Brooklyn.
