The result of this was exceptional (and gross) but that kind of slash happens literally dozens of times per game. Bad luck for Methot but it doesn't indicate Crosby being a dirty player or if it does then every player on the ice is equally dirty.

Not only is Buffalo giving us a shellacking but Anderson is out with an UBI. Our 87% to make the playoffs just fell to <65%. Never easy.

Is this Red Wings game really the one that Boudreau wants to give the Wild a moral victory for? That game was entirely winnable. I think he just felt like they needed a confirm fence boost before the Caps game tomorrow. Which is concerning in and of itself.
