Oilers finally cut the cancer from their team and are starting to play as a team. Putting team before individual stats. Apparently RNH had a big say in pushing for Hall to be traded as well, so the players seem to have known where the problem lay. Yak was a good kid and wasn't given the same opportunity as Hall and Eberle were here. He was also potentially the worst player of the last 3 years, so they won't miss him on the ice. Sort of a mistake here, as what they should have done is dump Ebs and put Yak in that spot. Same or better production at 3.5M or so less for a few years.

They just need to dump Eberle and possibly Nurse and they are a legitimate contender soon.
