NFCN could have been great if not for all those injuries. Bears were a legit team.

SF looks like good value to me, but then again I love defense and Harbaugh has made a believer out of me.

I'm surprised you would jump on NE +3.5 vs GB in the SB... while both defenses are bad, NE is borderline historically bad. Belichick is a genius and all but he's got absolutely nothing to work with this year.

Does anyone know whether FO accounts for in-game conditions, i.e., is GB's defense so bad vs the run because teams tend to average 6 ypc when they're down 3 scores?

tbh this is only partially true, their oline is very average and their wr corps sucks... if cutler hadn't demanded that martz keep in a te to pass-block and get rid of the 11-step drops they would've continued losing. then again in today's national football league Idk how many olines can consistently pass block for 5+ seconds.

GB allowed more YPG and PPG than NE.

not arguing NE d > GB but its pretty damn hard for one to be in a different class considering the above.

because clearly my argument for why the giants are better was because they beat the jets and not because they're just better with the victory against them as icing on the cake

Patriots? With that defense? At least Green Bay has a slight semblance of a pass rush.

Re: NFL Wildcard Round Discussion Thread

NO/GB/NE are all basically in the same boat...if you honestly think one team is clearly better than the other you are delusional.

I'm an idiot?

Let's make a poll in SE, who is better, the Giants or Jets. If the Giants don't win by a 20% margin or more, I'll take a 1 week ban, if they do, you do. Bet?

somebody lumped PITT and NYG into 'good team' category...i said IMO the jets were better than the giants. didnt say it was a fact son.

i really give up with you. ignore time.

Detroit is good, but they're not quite over the hump yet. They have a really hard time beating the really good teams even though they manage to play with them.
