or davis isnt that bad and just got trapped in a hole of being low on a depth chart because herpderp#1pick and herpderpshaunhillveteran that he never had a chance to show his competence.

he was a walkon at a conference usa school with nobodies as teammates, so no shock he went undrafted. then of course, he was undrafted so no one really has the interest in taking practice snaps away from the franchise qb and the veteran backup to see if he's good.

Agree that it wasn't an easy game and **** happens but 6th isn't underrating them.

Didn't really determine the outcome but didn't help. Should the ref ever be in that spot? Shouldn't he be going backwards? Guess he slipped.

I don't think it should be blown dead but I'm unsure why he is going forward so he has any chance of picking a player.

Wow lol @ that ref. Thank God that wasn't his record-setting TD or else in the future casuals would be going "WOW that guy wasn't even good the refs cheated for him! Ryan Leaf IV is still the obvious GOAT."

Lol at it getting blown dead but I thought they changed the umpire positioning to behind the offense a few years ago to both eliminate this possibility and to protect the umpire from getting killed. Or did this play happen in the final 2 minutes of a half when I think the umpire still sets up in his old spot?

I feel like they score on that play anyway

The throw was perfect so yeah, they most likely do. The defender was beat even if he doesn't collide with an official.

The point is really not this play. The point is the placement of the ref ****ing blows and he should never be at a point to do something like that.

Neither was I. When two mediocre teams play it shouldn't be a surprise whoever wins.

eh I wouldn't lower Seattle this week because they lost by 2 on the road where the other team had a 75 yd kick return leading to a TD drive, a crazy fake punt return TD, AND a fake punt conversion (and seattle failed a 2pt). (boy if that fake punt didn't work and they lost the casualfan outrage would've been unreal)

ref is the same as the turf on the field; so that would never be blown dead. Ref screwed up though getting in the way obv.
