Still, if they get HFA (they have a 2 game lead with 6 to play, lol) that is HUGE. And Stanton's ANY/A is 6.88 to Palmer's 7.08.

Oh, I didn't realize Josh McD was controlling Brady on those throws.

Look, I get it. The Patriots have throttled your team - and the QB you follow regardless of which team he plays for - the majority of the time. You're irrational. "The Patriots game plan was brilliant! 6 Offensive Lineman! Runs galore!" then immediately "Josh McD was a negative asset!"

Eh, I doubt it.

(PS: I'm guessing Tannaids isn't a term of endearment)

You're right, I just can't bring myself to list ARI above the team's mentioned.

Drew Stanton winning a Super Bowl will destroy everything we ever knew about this game.

No, he said it because your insistence on arguing this ****ing minute point is a painkiller-impacted steak-and-cheese turd clogging up the thread.

The argument between you two is at the point where I can actually say I agree 100% with what dkgo said about it.

Right...which is a direct result of not having Cornboy on ignore.

If you disagree, maybe there's 20-30 posts of back-and-forth waiting for us in there somewhere

Edit: Joking aside, I don't care if you're inconvenienced by it. If you don't find it interesting, don't read it and/or put he and I on ignore so you're aren't tempted. It's not as if the great work this thread usually does is being stopped by other people posting. Just skip them and move on, don't let it bother you.

Not trying to be rude, but people bitch about the strangest ****.

Believe me, I glossed over it as much as possible, but A)You are mistaken as to why 72o said what he said and B)You are acting like this is 100% because Cornboy's position is terrible, which it isn't.

RT: you started the conversation with a nitpick, you were wrong about the nitpick (Brady was great in the second half), then you've continued to make the thread bad by arguing that nitpick at length and engaging with people calling you out for nitpicking. Just stop digging the hole.

It's pretty telling that your only responses are "lol" and "ugh". Maybe you do have it all figured out and me and DB are just idiots though, since we can't see the self-obvious truth of your position.

Compared to some teams above them they have glaring holes but Luck is becoming good enough to mask some of them. Would you have MIA or any of the AFC north teams ahead of them?

I agree with your assessment of Luck and by "Indy sucks" mean basically every other facet of the game. Perhaps Luck can mask some of that, but the last month or so has indicated he cannot. Assuming they hold on and win the division, seems likely Denver will be the highest #5 seed favorite of all time.

What are you on about? I disagree with your point, but any post I make to that effect is going to look like more "Tannaids" from you and Boot so I can't defend myself.

It doesn't matter if you think the point is nitty or not. It's on topic and if you don't care for it, don't read it.

Couple of observations:

Gosder Cherilus is really bad, like Luck is at a decided disadvantage with him playing the RT position for him. His footwork is lazy and his speed off the ball is incredibly slow. He has a true lack of a kick back and this ends up not creating a pocket for Luck. Yet this isn't his biggest issue. He was completely and absolutely worked in the rush game against NE. Stood up, had no drive and stopped his legs everytime he started to drive block. Just a downright awful performance by him.

Matt Kalil:

As bad as Cherilus is its an even bigger disgrace of the product of play that Kalil is putting on the field. Jared Allen, at 900 years old, had the best game of the past 3 years this past weekend against Kalil. And it is 100% footwork. Kalil's feet are so close together when he engages that he has no leverage at all when it's time to actually get a punch or engage. He just doesn't do it properly. Which is absolutely shocking because his footwork and engagements were the two biggest strengths he had. There is no explanation for the way he is playing and to get beat as bad as he was by Jared Allen...well...if there was ever a red flag on a player it is that.

Kyle Long:

WOW. Jumps off the tape a ton. For someone who was a raw as he was to be as crisp as he is during inside protection schemes is incredible. One of the hardest parts of being a guard is protecting your interior gap, that is why most basic pass protections always go outside gap and let the RB fill inside. But because of the failures of the tackles the RBs are forced to protect outside in so guards are protecting inside out. Long is so smooth when he plays and has such a strong presence that defenders are actually taking poor paths to not engage him head up. Meaning they rather take a longer route than be forced to go through him. Truly a terrific sign.

Sharrif Floyd:

Unreal talent. Finally showing why I thought he was the only talent in last years draft behind StarLo. Dude is an absolute beast. That getoff is just as good in the NFL and his hand work for a 2nd year player is far beyond his years. They ask a whole lot out of him by slanting, controlling two gaps, cutting into guards, and even dropping back to pass coverage at times. His Pass rush abilities are clearly starting to develop and he is thinking through his progression. You see this with the various ways he attacks. Floyd and StarLo are still miles behind Watt and far behind Poe and Atkins but watch out for them as they develop those defensive line hand attacks to start vaulting into DPOY discussion in a couple of years.

Edited Note: I should mention Richardson with Floyd and Starlo as there is a legit argument that Richardson is better than both. You have a plethora of incredible WATT clones doing work.
