Atl vs Carolina is definitely an attractive enough game to be flexed in, compared to Baltimore vs Seattle. If I had to guess though, Bills vs Eagles could be the sneaky choice if Buffalo are in playoff contention still.

Week 16 is almost a lock to be Jets vs Pats if either Jets have playoff equity or the Pats are still undefeated.

Panthers are @Dal/@No. If they win both to get to 12-0, they probably are a lock to get the SNF flex v ATL

Decided to look into this using DVOA (only updated through week 10 as of tonight, though). NO has the #8 offense and the #32 defense, and the defense is so far behind everyone else that the #31 defense is as close to the #22 defense as it is to New Orleans.

Denver has the #1 defense, by a similarly large margin over #2. If the Saints had the Denver defense (while keeping their own offense and special teams), they'd be second in DVOA, behind New England and ahead of Arizona.

Hell, even if they had Philadelphia's #2 defense, a full 10 points behind Denver's, they'd slot in at #4 overall, just ahead of Carolina and behind Cincinnati.

They are actually 29th in DVOA overall. That's how bad their defense is. Even if they had San Diego's 31st-ranked defense, they'd jump all the way to 22nd, right behind Indianapolis. A defense of 0 DVOA would rank them 13th, behind the Eagles and ahead of the Giants.

Jimmy Clausen is now available to those teams that love crappy white QB's.

Still don't really know how or why all those metrics and those types of people seem to still love the eagles.

on the bears failed 2pc turns out cutler changed pass to run and 1/3rd of the team didn't hear it because bennett ran a route, and grasu was pass blocking. Not gonna work when they outnumber you. so, CUTLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

personally, I prefer pass with goalline personnel, someone seems to always not cover a TE.

After today's game, through 10 games the Pats have edged out to be the #1 scoring defense in the NFL. Not all that meaningful, but slightly because you have to be doing something right to get there. And they have not had Collins for several games.

I hate to use the word underrated, but they have been massively overlooked. They are a disciplined, swarming defense that takes advantage of scared offenses trying to keep up, and Hightower has been a stud d-QB of the squad. The Pats offense might slow down without Edelman but this Pats D is legit.

Dalton had a pretty good year so far.

Brady will win MVP and it won't be close (unless Panthers somehow sweep and Patriots don't). I mean he basically has 5 linemen and receivers are going down by the second. I'm a Brady and Patriots hater but they are playing an insane season (imo)
Well I guess Cam has no WR either.

Btw.: are there still people ITT that want to whitewash Rob Ryan off any issues with that D? Iirc last time I said he should be fired and is only hanging on because of his name I was loled out of the thread with "yeah but personal, can't blame him". Yes you can if you watch some tape. Fairly questionable play calls quite often (and I'd argue somewhat unwilling to adjust system to available personal which is a huge nogo imo). Granted I haven't paid a ton of attention to the Saints this year and am mostly basing it on last year and a couple of games but they are dead last in most categories I think.
I don't think he's horrible but it's a win/win to get a new guy for both NO and him I think.

And who thought this was going to be one of the worst defenses Belichick has fielded in his time with the Pats? Oh right that was you Salva.

Lolz Salva!

combo of good scheming by the Bills, banged up oline, bad night by the o line on top of that, and Brady probably having a bad night as well figuring out what was going on

Harbaugh whined about the refs his entire presser. He went through every penalty called on the Ravens and said they were all wrong then went through plays that should have been penalties on the Rams. Your team sucks bro, refs aren't costing you games. Such a bitch team and fanbase

That Denver game is going to be far more real than we expect it to be on paper with Oz

Can you imagine how HarBawl would have conducted himself when the official came over to explain their mistake with the inadvertent whistle?

there's a good chance (Amendola out) the Pats WR depth chart for @Broncos is:

1) Brandon LaFell
2) Chris Harper (UDFA, played his 2nd game last night, 0 career receptions)
3) ?
4) ?

then again Amendola might be ok. Keshawn Martin might be able to play, though he is basically just a guy. either way yeah having the Pats losing this week is not a stretch.

flip side is Broncos might have an equally hard time moving the ball. Broncos looked credible with Osweiler vs the Bears, but that is one of the worst defenses in the league. I don't get the 45 point total this game, the under is my

This is finally the opportunity Greg Salas has been waiting for to be the next Welker!

Spoiler:
Stolen from another site but I laughed

Boyce is a FA but he kind of sucks.

What about that JAG that made a splash in preseason a few years ago for the Pats? Think he also played for the Raiders for a while. Wonder if he's available?

Denver +3 is interesting. Last time they were +3 at home vs an elite QB, Rodgers had 77 yards passing.

Is Ware expected to play? That Denver D seems like it should be able to shut the current version of NE down. NEs OL is horrible and Den can play man to man on the outside all game then just double/bracket Gronk.

Then again, the Broncos did need a 2pt conversion stand to avoid OT vs the Bears without Jeffrey.
