I was leaning 1. Arizona but almost losing to the 29ers disqualified them. Also losing to the Rams and a Vick/Laundry led Stealers while only scoring 13 points is bad. Arizona's "A game" probably beats everyone though when they are on.

Chiefs have yet to face a team weaker than 19th according to inpredictable, only bears have had a harder schedule so far

Coming into the year it was bears, browns fans thinking they'd be lucky to win 5 games over the entire season as both had brutal on paper schedules. Bears schedule wasn't as hard as predicted though washington/tampa are better relative to the field than expected. Den/GB/KC/Sea all worse despite being likely playoff teams.

Can the NFL not award the NFC 4 and 6 seeds, since it seems nobody wants them? We might seriously see two 8-8 or worse teams in the NFC playoffs.

You can say that about every year--even JFF doesn't deserve to be in that org.

Don't like the "he's aloof" thing as a major negative since I'd probably be the same way, but you can't miss the bus.

While "passion" is obviously important, I suggest drafting players who's best attribute is being good at football. Irving has passion but he's got a lot of work to do, especially if you're gonna stick him at guard, which he's basically got the same weaknesses that were exposed at tackle in college. I presume the plan was he takes over at C next year when mack opts out but it's the god damn browns so who knows, they probably think OT/C/OG are all interchangeable by everyone.

Justin really isn't athletic according to mockdraftable. Just avg 3 cone and vert jump. (graph is similar to Dee Milliner--just looking at the graph it's like how the hell were they top 10 picks)

Being good at football is important, but it's hard to be good at football if you don't give a **** about football.

Just astounding that nobody in the organization even bothered to meet Gilbert before they traded down, then up, to draft him. What were they thinking? Farmer apparently thinks Pro Days are a waste of time.

"Athleticism" pretty much means "40 time" to Cleveland, apparently. Also, he's 6 feet tall, so that means he must be a good CB.

I think Pro Days are more for getting 1 on 1 and figuring out how quickly he can learn/adapt and all that so I would say they are mostly worthless (except I think we've had someone not show up to his each of the last two years)--(well other than farmer not knowing jack **** about a guy in the top 10 he was thinking of picking in the NFL draft) whoever that scout assigned to that region was (and the cross checks). That's very lazy ****. Everyone can see someone being lazy on some UDFA or 7th round grade there because hours/pay suck but you can't half *** a top 10 guy.

I wonder if Gilbert can be a WR/KR last guy on the roster kind of player. He might actually want to do that, and he might be able to KR at least, he does have a 40.

http://mweb.cbssports.com/nfl/featur...es-of-favre-ia

article about favre's autobiography but I particularly wanted to point out that even his first year in GB, he didn't know what a nickel defense was nor could call a play (he couldn't match formations to plays, so he'd call plays with absurd formations to them) and he also almost got benched in GB. The difference in being a NFL hall of famer or the outcry of what a bust more razor thin than we realize.

To be fair GB was a west coast offense I think? The play calls in that are absurdly complex compared to other systems.
