Their non-$54 million safety was a first-round pick last year and is already one of the better safeties in the league. Their #1 cornerback was signed last year in free agency and is a top-10 corner.

Roman Harper, who is a safety and not a cornerback, plays in Carolina, BTW

Carolina did draft Tre Boston but I don't think he's practiced yet. I'm assuming he'll take over for Harper at some point in the season although not likely soon.

I'll take your bet, loose

I don't bet sports but what the hell.
Sure. How much would you like to wager? 100 v 200? More?

AFC gonna be the same old same old. Denver, New England, and probably Indy crushing everybody, the Ravens or Steelers will somehow sneak into the playoffs despite being awful, the wild card teams won't even matter because they're hopeless in the playoffs, Denver will beat New England in the AFCCG again before getting routed by Seattle/San Fran winner again.

Oh, and the Lions will win the NFC North.
This is pretty much how I envision this NFL season, but I comfort myself knowing this isn't the NBA and you have no idea what team will be good.

Pete Carroll read this post, thought about himself, the Super Bowl, next year's Super Bowl, and then got hard and ****ed 3 prom queens.

Marshawn prolly going to find out how replaceable he is IMO. Fun player, but not one Hawks need to overpay.

Full year of Percy, Wilson improves, D still GOATS. Gimmick still gimmicks. Lots of winning.

I missed the Tomlin "not about that" or whatever, what was that in reference to? I've seen it mentioned a few times.

If Cutlers' even an average QB he should look really good this year, so that'll be interesting to find out.
Stafford is probably getting to the age where with the guys they've brought in its kinda **** or get off the pot in terms of him ever being a top guy.
If gross incompetence leads to Brian Hoyer somehow starting more than one game, we could get to see one of those seasons that we'll talk about for years to come as a paragon of inept quarterback play.
Watt+Clowney should be a lot of fun to watch, especially if that offense can find a way to score enough points that teams actually have to pass.
The Pats have some pieces to be really aggressive on defense, that should be cool.
Will the Panthers be playing with 3 RBs on the field every down by midseason? Because they should probably at least consider it...

the afc is incredibly uninteresting atm. new england will win 12 games like always. denver will be the same. cincy will win 10 games again despite a bad qb. then youve got the bills, dolphins, and titans who put up the same 7-9 season every year that no one cares about and the jags, browns, and raiders will all be 4-12.
