you could say the same thing about the Jets. Bills should have a significantly improved pass rush and they can be good on offense if they keep people healthy (especially on the O-line). Gilmore and Glenn's performance as rookies is going to be important, i feel.

Re: 2012 NFL Preseason Discussion & Power Rankings
Fitzpatrick regressed majorly towards the second half of the season last year. He performed amazing for the first half, but his second half shows more of what type of QB he is. It was nothing stellar.

Re: 2012 NFL Preseason Discussion & Power Rankings
Yeah the NFL knows TV is too good relative to the stadium experience, but they make so much money from TV that they can't jeopardize that revenue stream by protecting ticket sales via a diminished in-home experience.
I'd be interested to know what the league thinks of the red zone channel. It is so awesome that it has to be taking people out of the stands. But now people kind of expect it so they're in a tough spot.
I've heard that they are considering live audio available only in-stadium, free wi-fi in every stadium, red zone channel in stadium, other games on tvs in the stadium and other such things, but I'm not sure how successful those things will be. Maybe TVs in every seat back showing all the other games or something?

I agree with you that it appears as though they upgraded in some areas but I still think their areas of weakness will be profound and prevent them from making the "jump."

Matt Forte got hurt. Since the Bears management is retarded and won't give him a contract, he made no effort to return.
|
They are so dumb, for not offering the injured guy at an injury prone position a huge contract.

I don't think they're weak at LB at all. QB could go either way....WR, the same.
Fitz was hurt the 2nd part of the season. But yeah, he has some proving to do.

Their front 4 looks solid with Mario, Kyle Williams, Dareus and Kelsay. I'm excited to see how they perform. Any time I don't have to count on Spencer Johnson (I'm envisioning you guys saying "who?") is a good thing.

I've only been the Jets/Browns/Miami/Pats home games, so it's obviously a small sample size, but they rarely show highlights of on going games throughout the day. If they did it where every TV break that happened at the home game, they put the RedZone channel up, and during half time ignoring a show and putting a half time show up on the jumbotrons to show everything, I think it would help attendance.

The Bengals didn't beat a single team with a winning record and they were losig in the 4th quarter in 6 of their nine wins last year. They are going to regress.

Oh look it's Pudge being a douchebag. In other news, Charlie Weis is still fat.
