Third different story I have heard. That one doesn't even follow a reasonable timeline.

Here was the story before random **** got made up: Marinelli is a fiercely loyal guy. The minute they fired Lovie he told Emery he was leaving. Emery was hoping that the new HC could convince him to stay. Only Trestman was willing to try. Marinelli had already decided he was going to wait for Lovie to get another job before he coached again. Jerry Jones tried to hire him as a DC but he refused. So Jones hired Kiffin with the hope he could convince Marinelli to come to Dallas, it worked.

All of this BS about Arians in the Chicago media is just that. Arians would be fired right now as well if he took the Bears job and Trestman took the Cardinals job. The only reason Arians looks better right now is because he walked into a great defense with good young players. The Bears older great D was about to fall off of a cliff and did. No offensive coach was surviving that.

It's the same BS that Todd Bowles is getting head coaching looks. He was part of a talent less tire fire defense in Philly. Then he goes to a talent filled defense and all of a sudden he is a great coach.

I'm not sure if you're aware of the QBs that Arians had on his roster this year and what their final record was. If you told him he could have Cutler for a playoff game he might have a heart attack from all the excitement.

Firing the Jags OC because he overloaded Bortles too much* and then hiring Trestman would be #WTFBBQ. Trestman's the biggest overloader I've seen at that position.

i'm hearing rumors that the Jets are interested in Klein from South Central Louisiana State University Mud Dogs for their next head coach. If true, I think it would be a good hire. Klein is very offensive minded and could turn this team around.

Think Trestman would be by far the best hire for Jacksonville as the OC. And would give me a ton of hope going forward with Blake. Because at the moment...I have absolutely zero faith in Blake being anything but a contender for the single worst draft pick in NFL history.
