Very good, very young player with still more upside, but they're definitely paying for the upside too. Good young 3-techs don't grow on trees.

Plus it's really $6/45 because it's technically a 5-year extension on a 1 year deal. If he plays as well as last year he was a lock to get much more in FA next year.

I'm not shocked he got that much. Won't be shocked if he lives up to the contract either.

Browns would've cut him if they didn't just give him 9M guaranteed. Nothing's changed there so this offseason in WR'ing for cle was a giant train wreck as usual (also 4th round pick was so bad they didn't even PS him) and they had charles johnson (min) for over a year and I forgot who else and they them go for guys who aren't in the league anymore so whoever's got WR scouting in Cle needs to have another job.

RGIII was a safety on the scout team this week. Idk what's more ridiculous, that they're so mad at him they think this is sending him a message or the fact they actually are risking some random fluke injury and if that happened they're all on the hook for 16M.
