As a fan of football it's total garbage that the NFL keeps extremely talented players off the field for extremely specious reasons

Like can you imagine if the NBA suspended LeBron for a quarter-season for a bogus charge and then banned Steph Curry for a year because he got a contact high in the Bay Area

His agent fired him a few weeks ago as well. As terrible as the NFL is regarding stuff like this, lolGordon

Kindof a ****ty way to treat a player just to nickel and dime every edge. But that's sports.
It's a compensatory pick. The team that signs him doesn't have to give up anything.

Quite literally a freeroll for NE, where they either get a free draft pick or they get Blount for 1.1M. It also guarantees that Blount makes at least 1.1M, this season.

compensatory picks are based on the balance of free agents coming in and going out. because of the tender blount still counts in the formula as someone coming in for a new team

it does guarantee him money though form what I understand. 1.1M seems like a reasonable amount for a 30 yo RB with no special talent who isn't used in the passing game.

They tried taking Patriots draft picks to help with competitive balance in the league but it didnt work. So after seeing the success the curse had with Gronk last season they decided this would be the only way to level the playing field for next season.

Hilarious that advance copies of the game are labeled "the G.O.A.T. Edition." There's no amount of riled up haters too many.

OMG HE SMOKES WEED OR DRINKS THE HORRORS. Instead shoot up this pain reliever in your ass that makes you feel numb in your entire body so you can play and in no way has documented long term terrible effects while definitely not sustaining long term brain damage and also definitely not risking ligament destroying, leg breaking, or having to go to a trauma center from standard casual practice.

Seems unlikely, but you don't become a wifebeater by beating women who aren't your wife.
