and yet there he is, married to a beautiful woman having earned $100m or more heading into another career where he'll be getting 7 figures in his first job and there you are, sitting in your dirty underpants in your mom's basement with 35k posts on tpt

yup, he really is a loser

in stats

Career Passer Rating
Brett Favre 86.0
Jay Cutler 85.7
Eli Manning 83.7

Mark Sanchez is at 73.9 (!) still in league. #NFL meritocracy

Yeah, he might have been the only player I reviewed and left off the board on purpose

He does seems suitable for the role of third-string quarterback behind Brian Hoyer and Matt Barkley

lol Sanchez is third string, if Cutler said he'd play third string at the same cost teams would line up for it. Don't think many will argue that Eli is that good outside of rangs.

Why would you compare passer rating to someone who started his career 15 years before Cutler? Only five players who started their career before 97 have higher passer rating than Cutler: Favre, Marino, Montana, Young, Graham, with a ton more coming in 98/99.

You guys all got me. I definitely live in my parents basement. You make fun of me for all my posts, yet you have 14k yourself Feel Wrath. Get ****ing out of here. I live over 1k miles from my parents and own my own home. Sorry I offended all of you closet Cutler fans.

I know my own team's QBs suck. Congrats on pointing out the ****ing obvious. I don't really like the post-Harbaugh 49ers but I still support my **** team. We may have the worst owner in all of sports and he's in his mid 30s and going nowhere.

If you don't own a home at least 2,700 miles from your parents, you're basically in their basement.

But yeah, Cutler obviously wasn't very good at winning football games & seems like a giant slanking douche, but his wife choice seems to be the least of his issues.

& you're still not at all concerned about the 49ers regime?

Not presently concerned? I find the whole regime actively concerning thus far.

Well, I find their taste in quarterbacks appalling, but I did say that I was not concerned about the fact that they were handing out a bunch of short contracts to veterans. Depending on your measure, they still have somewhere between $52M-68m in expected cap space.

I think they did a pretty good job in the draft, too, coming away with a number of good players and, IIRC, an extra second- and third-rounder next year. So I'm not sure what actively concerns you, QBs aside. Did they spend a little much on a few of the free agents? Yeah, but they have monstrous cap room and they're trying to field a competent team after the massive talent drain of the last 2-3 seasons.

They paid rotational $ for people who haven't been rotational in 3 years, they thought Foster was the 3rd best player in the draft, they drafted useless players in the 3rd & 4th round cuz Shanny thought it would be cool, etc.

They did get an extra 2 & 3 (& got rid of their own 4), but mostly they just reaped the benefits of lol Bears.

I don't feel as strongly about this as I'm arguing, though, so I'll stop.
