Cleveland has one if the best OL in football. They have a great/elite WR in Coleman who could tear the league up with a QB. Could get two of the best pass rushers in the draft. One if them might be the best pass rushing prospect in the last 5 years. Then they can grab a great CB prospect in the second and a great RB, if they take the right guy, to run behind that beastly OL.
Yeah Brown's should have offered Romo like 25 million for one year. What are they going to spend the money on?
lot's of "ifs" and "maybes" in there. here are the facts:
1) The Browns were 1-15 last year
2) They have a bunch of draft picks who may or may not turn into useful NFL players
3) Bovada has their odds to win the SB as the longest in the league. 32 out of 32 teams.
adding a probably injured QB to that equation...doesn't do a whole lot. maybe they win 7 or 8 games instead of 4 or 5.
as for the money, they can roll it forward. they don't need to spend it now.
