Re: NFL Off-Season 2017

It was a terrible trade at the time and still is. They got rid of a top 10 center for a player that wasn't really necessary for that offense. If any team should play old school football of running the ball, it should be Seattle with that elite defense. Plus the Saints got their first round pick.

Re: NFL Off-Season 2017

Yeah I'm not sure what the Seahawks were thinking. I mean I know what they were thinking. Hey let's trade for Jimmy Graham and give Wilson and elite weapon but they forgot that in order for Jimmy Graham to be an elite weapon you have to feature him. He needs 140+ targets a game and pepper him in the red zone. Jump balls to Jimmy Graham are instantly every team not named NE best red zone play. You can build an offense around him like Gronk but if you throw the ball less than 100 times a year to Gronk he'd be disappointing too and that's why Graham is meh all of a sudden.

Re: NFL Off-Season 2017

Its not featuring him, its just not playing him as a blocker

Run more 2 TE sets you dumbasses. Or build a better OL

The Jets just gave Josh McCown $6 million guaranteed-- plus incentives!-- for one year.

I saw a report earlier that he was in Mexico, implying from Mexico. If only Brady had a close friend in a position of power who wouldn't mind extracting retribution from a media member--especially one from Mexico.

Re: NFL Off-Season 2017

in broke ex NFL'er news. Derrick Ward is asking people for their $ then blocks them. He collected 10M in his career.

Only landry jones still on the same team from the 2013 nfl draft. Great class that was, only mike glennon is a starter this year.

i really doubt it. IMO his best years are definitely behind him. looked pretty mediocre the last 2 years. back injuries for a guy that big seem bad. pretty unfortunate cuz dude was a monster

also saw the jags offered him 1 year 9mil fully gtd+incentives but he turned them down to take less from atlanta. curious

Are you just talking about just QBs, your post isn't very clear. Only 11 were taken and the first 4 are pretty awful. EJ, Geno, Glennon (he's okay), and Barkley.

Colts sign Kamar Aiken. Hopefully he can wrestle the #3 spot away from Dorsett

Saints sign Manti Te'o to a two-year deal. I'm sure there's a joke there somewhere.

Miami seems to keep giving average players very large contracts.

The NFL is getting rid of commercials surrounding scoring play/kicking.

Huh.

Re: NFL Off-Season 2017

NFL listening to viewers complaints and doing something about it? What world are we living in?

The main two are instead of a replay monitor they're just gonna bring the ref a tablet to in theory cut down on some time with those (I sure can't wait for tablet not to work or the ten minutes for the ref to figure out how it works) and trying to get rid of some of the touchdown->commerical break->xp->break->kickoff->break by running a play clock.
