Pryor had 4 drops, Thielen had 2.

Crabtree led the league with 9, followed by Brandon Marshall with 8.

Of course not and thielen also had one 250 yard performance. Pryor was underwhelming 2nd half of the season. ..makes sense he got offered 3 for 15 from browns said **** it ill go prove it on a 1 year deal in a good offense

You don't think the Panthers could have got an early 6th rounder for Ealy?
Apparently not, or at least not in a timely enough fashion to clear the roster space and/or cap room they wanted.

I'm convinced the Panthers leadership doesn't watch any other teams. That's why they keep re-signing their own free agents, on the case of Kalil, "Number 4 overall pick is a free agent and his brother plays for us? Yeah, let's get him."

Pryor deal seems really good for Skins, just not surprised that nobody was willing to completely break bank for him. Makes sense for him to do a 1 yr prove it deal with a better QB.

Then again Woods got a big deal somehow so who knows wtf is going on

I thought Pryor was hurt the second half of the season and played thru it to try and get that contract

Alston deal is 9.5m plus the rest in incentives

I have to believe the only reason Matt Kalil was signed by Carolina is because his brother Ryan plays there.

It wasn't so much that he was hurt. It was just that he had RG3 as his QB for the last month of the season

Willing to bet this was the beginning and the end of the arduous thought process of the ******s in the front office

eh, his cap charge is only $900k and having just shed 12 FA's I can't imagine they have a space crunch right now. I think the thought process was probably more like

BB: hey you guys have a lot of pass rushers, how about you ship us this dude and we'll give you a SECOND ROUND DRAFT PICK for your MEASLY THIRD?
CAR: k

You don't think it's more likely that they are just dumb & overvalue the idea of getting a 2nd round pick in the trade than they are concerned about immediately unloading a guy who saves them $900k when they have $24 million of space, & there are no roster space limitations at this time of the year afaik?

Colts are giving Jabaal Sheard 3/$25.5m/$12.75m.

Dolphins sign S Nate Allen. I assume they overpaid him.

they NEED that extra 900K to sign some receiver with 300 yards and check off "address the WR corps"

Ah, the long awaited Russell Shepard signing must be imminent then.

So basically Kalil has no chance to overperform his contract while Ealy couldn't have underperformed his. Smart choices.

What the **** Browns

You are swimming in cap space, at least outbid the racists for a one year prove it deal

Never mind the stupidity of the Britt deal

Apparently the only thing they get right is stockpiling picks

Pryor stuff:

Quote:
According to Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns’ original offer to WR Terrelle Pryor was between $8-$9 million, but he was looking for a larger salary, possibly as much as $15 million at one point.

Pryor agreed to a one-year deal with the Redskins that includes a base value of $6 million and can be worth $8 million with incentives.

Cabot says that the Browns wanted Pryor back and likely would have paid him more than the $6 million he got from Washington, but Pryor never went back to the Browns to see if they would match or beat the offer.

I mean, I definitely think they're dumb, but I also think they had no intention of keeping Ealy and were happy to get something instead of nothing.
