Although I question a guy who had a drinking problem so severe he got fired from two jobs because of it who doesn't just quit drinking entirely.

Alcoholism is a disease. I think you're underestimating how easy it is for an alcoholic to "quit drinking entirely".

But you are right about the lol skins part. It's depressing as hell.
