While I don't think Smith is that great, getting a league average starting QB for less than a first round pick isn't a bad trade. 9ers did absolutely **** with those picks.
Schaub was a league average QB for a while. Not sure how it didn't pan out, he wasn't a HOFer but he wasn't bad till the end of his stay in Houston.
Well, they did use those picks to trade for more picks & get Carlos Hyde among others. But I agree with everything else you said.

Well, I know it's not necessarily his job to get tackles, but Wilfork had 10 more combined tackles in his last year in NE than he did in his two years in Houston, & I don't think the Pats are sad they didn't pay him 2/$9m.

Schaub deal was totally fine. It makes me sad that Cutler was thrust into a situation where he never developed further, because his last season in Denver was a real step forward, improving his efficiency while taking on substantially higher volume. (He did end up being the starter for eight years in Chicago, so even saying if it's a "bad" trade is hard.)
Yup on Feeley. Eagles used the Feeley pick to draft WR Reggie Brown.
Kolb was traded for a 2nd + DRC. Eagles used that 2nd to trade back & draft Vinnie Curry & Brandon Boykin.
