Well in this scenario you really need to use time travel rules. IE if Jim Brown had been born in 1995 and got the benefits of modern weight training etc how good would he be?

Or, the only fair way to compare players is against their peers

These people are paid to make terrible hypothetical draft choices?

Also with salaries expected to skyrocket sounds like skins were lowballing Kirk?

Time travel rules. If Vince Lombardi was coaching today and had access to Bellichick's cheating tricks, he'd be as dominant as any modern coach.

Lombardi was too busy making grand speeches and motivational posters to consider angle shoots.

love that Bruce Allen apparently called him 'Kurt' multiple times in his interview

thought the all time draft was an interesting concept, particularly how the choices might relate in some ways to the NFL 100 year team, which by hugely scientific method of adding 25 years to the 75 year team, should be announced in 2 years time.

Here is the 75 yr team - am interested in how many players got added and who they drop

Skins obviously low balled Kurt and won't have a QB after next season

That Skins tweet neglects to say that he was already guaranteed $24m this year with the franchise tag and $28m with transition tag next year, so he already has $52m guaranteed if he stays another year, which is looking very unlikely at this point

Talk radio people so bad...

Host: Joe Thomas with the 69th pick & Terry Bradshaw in the 5th round that's awful! What's Joe Thomas ever won? He's a tackle. Terry Bradshaw is 4 for 4 in Super Bowls!

Assistant guy: Do you think maybe it has to do with depth at the position? Dan Marino went in the 10th, Troy Aikman in the 20th & Brett Favre wasn't drafted.

Host: 4 for 4 in Super Bowls! A tackle?

If you look carefully, there's a fair bit of "I have to draft a coach I hired" in there.

Is next year the last year Cousins has to play for the Skins? Clearly just wants to gtfo.

This will be his last season with the team. Has a shot to be the highest paid player (likely with SF) next season.

I mean **** Dan Snyder but the Skins have a lot more upside than the 9ers at this point. D.C. wouldn't be a horrible place to live either, not like hes in Cleveland. Cowboys are the only team they really have to worry about going forward and they are going to regress. Unless they are seriously low balling him It doesn't make a lot of sense to me

How much insurance can Cousins buy for injury? That seems his only downside risk from not accepting the offer (even if he regresses quite a bit, there are enough QB desperate teams that he'll get at least what Osweiler got).

Kinda odd I never hear about the Skin's options if Kirk does leave. Looking it up it's Colt McCoy and whatever a Sudfield is, anyone know how close Colt is to Kirk?

At one point Colt was playing ahead of RG3 and Kirk. What a time that was

I believe they could also gamble and transition tag him, then match any offer he receives
