I would bet pretty solid money ARod outperforms Russ in their 33-36 age seasons

Hardest part for me is ordering: Mariota, Dak, Jaemis. I got all 3 ahead of Carr who is older, has the injury, has an elite supporting cast (similar to Daks) and who in 3 seasons has not posted a higher YPA than any of the other 3's worst season.

Uh, I would too? The question posed was for a dynasty perspective now. You can get 5ish more years of Rodgers followed by whatever you can scrounge, vs. 10ish more of Wilson. Even if Rodgers is better than Wilson for each of those 5 years, which isn't a given, there is still value in the younger guy.

Rodgers vs Luck is much more close/interesting than Rodgers vs Russell

{Luck, Rodgers} >> Russell > Winston >> {Carr, Mariota} >>>> Dak

Dak in year 1 > Carr in year 3. Supporting casts are similar now (obv Carr had trash as a rookie). Why you hating on Dak?

Also Winston >> Mariota seems unfounded but I could see an argument for Winstons more traditional style translating better long term.

I would have taken Mariota 1st overall in that draft tho and haven't seen anything from either that'd make me change that although I do think they're close, essentially a toss up at this point.

Luck is way overrated.

Are we factoring in salary issues into the analysis? Because there's definitely value in getting to underpay the guy for 3 more years & then have a couple cost controlled years, above & beyond just the age differences.

No excuses for Mariota this year with Decker & Davis.

Age doesn't seem to be as much of a factor for pocket passers

No idea where to rate Mariota tbh. Good completion % and low interceptions, but he had everything going for him in Tennessee- an elite Oline, great running game with a high workload, and a low passing workload. I think the titans were ~3rd in rushing attempts and ~22nd in passing attempts in the league.

He's coming off a big injury but the Titans added a few decent receivers so we'll see how he does.

Meh, I think bombs away is going to be a viable offense for the Bucs this season, especially if they can run the ball at all.

2014 former NFL player and browns first round draft pick suspended a year for substance abuse.

(obv it's Justin Gilbert. Only passing on Beckham, Donald so they were in a tough spot, no great players available)

2 first round picks in that draft already out of the NFL before the rookie contract ended and the Browns took both of them.
