I like both players better than the STATS would suggest but whatever.

JPP just got 4/62 with 7 sacks and a missing finger at 28. I'll spend the extra dough and get the guy who didn't blow his finger off, thanks.

It's clearly not an overpay. Look around, 8 teams can't blow their $ if they tried so whatever.

I mean the only real concern and it probably shouldn't be is that he's moving from 3-4 OLB to a 4-3 LEO now in gus bradley's defense.

fwiw, Ingram was also 7th in hurries last year. He's a good end at a premium NFL position.
That argument is fairly disingenuous as there are about 30 people in that sack range, & you picked 1 massive overpay & 1 guy with a much stronger reputation against the run who received much less guaranteed $.

The hurries argument is better. & the fact that the Chargers likely don't have a better use for the $ makes it ~fine, but I stand by my initial comment.

Happy for him.
That would make his stats better, not his actual play, & would actually make him less valuable... kinda like how the Dolphins are so lol for paying a premium for Andre Branch.

This is all a lot of jibber jabber about a not strong opinion. If they signed him to 4/$60m/$36m I wouldn't have batted any eye.

Greg Robinson traded to Lions for a 6th round pick.

Greg Robinson can't pass block and the Lions don't run the ball. (30th in the league in run % play calls).

Lol Jets/Hack

Quote:
Jets QB Christian Hackenberg’s inaccuracy has been a popular topic in recent weeks after multiple reporters have been hit by errant passes on the sideline.

However, Jets OC Jeremy Bates defended Hackenberg’s play and accuracy.

“I think he’s real accurate,” Bates said, via Daniel Popper of the New York Daily News. “I think he’s throwing the ball well. He’s throwing it on time. Part of accuracy is knowing where to go with the ball, and each day, he plays faster. He gets in a rhythm. And I think everyone in the building is excited to see where he’s going. I think he’s accurate.”

to be fair, what's he supposed to say "you're all right, he's ****ing awful, we're only working with him because our GM drafted him in the 2nd round and I sure as hell didn't want the guy he can't play don't ask me"

either that or he has to claim they have some new drill to hit as many reporters as possible as retaliation for #fake news.

It's just funny how many times he used the word "think" in one quote. I mostly posted it for the hitting multiple reporters thing, though.

Floyd's alcohol monitoring system reportedly flagged him five times earlier this week. At least three of those were deemed "high alcohol tests," and Floyd allegedly blew BAC counts of .044 and .055 on two of them. Under terms of his house arrest stemming from his extreme DUI last year, Floyd isn't permitted to have a single drop of alcohol. He's blaming the failed tests on an herbal tea.

doesn't that alcohol level basically mean death? Lol

Seems like it was the herbal tea. You would think he would check the ingredients beforehand.

It definitely would be, but that's not how BAC works.

What order would you rank these QBs for building a team:

Sorted by age:
Aaron Rodgers 33
Russell Wilson 28
Andrew Luck 27
Derek Carr 26
Dak Prescott 23
Marcus Mariota 23
Jaemis Winston 23

I think we're pretty close to the point where you should take an extra ~5 years of Russ over Rodgers.
