cutlah, romo, kaepernick, RGIII's knees all forced out of the NFL but there's a lot of much worse on rosters atm. Sanchez/whoever the browns have/etc

BREAKING: Sources have confirmed Jeremy Maclin is #Buffalo bound to sign a 1 year $4-5M range contract (pending incentives).

Considering he hasn't even met with the bills yet (later today)and is scheduled to meet with the Ravens Wednesday I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that isn't the case

I'd be pretty happy if Carolina threw $45M w/$20M guaranteed over 5 years at him. In this environment with so many teams having so much cap space and Maclin being a good player I just can't imagine him being forced to take a cheap 1 year prove it deal.

Decent move for both parties. They're tanking and I'm sure he'd prefer to play with a better team, albeit I doubt he gets the $7m he was due this year coming off an injury

I imagine Jets asked him to take a pay cut and he refused

I dislike Decker...but 2/$14.75m with nothing guaranteed doesn't seem awful...if he's healthy. Which I'm guessing he might not be...

He just turned 30, so not fully ancient.

They're sort of different types of receiver...I feel like Decker might be better across from Watkins than Maclin, but I'm nor sure I can really back that up with more than a feeling.

I think part of it depends on how much guaranteed $ one would have to shell out for either.

Like I think trading a 7th for the current Decker contract, or a 6th for Decker & a 7th is pretty decent, whereas Maclin might require some decent guaranteed $.

Maclin probably more useful on more teams.

The Jags have one (8-8).

This year's HS grads weren't born yet the last time the Bills were in the playoffs.

2 other WR's already on IR, Robby got arrested for shoving a cop so he'll get ROG'd at some point.

oh boy. This is worse than the WR corps under the sanchez era no? Maybe not, Enunwa might be better than anyone he had.

Just as well, not like Hackenberg can complete a pass to any NFL WR anyway.

Pretty obvious they're rebuilding and wouldn't be surprised if they're actually trying to tank to get in position for a QB. Could be five first rounders in the 2018 draft just based on current projections. (A few of them might even be worth it.)

Sounds like the starters will be Enunwa, Anderson, Stewart. Probably Peake and Hansen the top backups. Side note, Jets have drafted seven WRs since 2014; only four are still on the team, lol.
