And again I'll say TY got more yards than Julio, so is TY better than Julio?

It's not worth it, he's hopeless

I will say that TY is probably a better deep threat than Julio, even though Julio is good at that too.

That's all TY does really well, he's a burner and gets open deep. Julio is better on in-breaking routes, catching in traffic, high-pointing the ball in the air, and he's a vastly superior run-blocker.

So here it's the eye-test but with Bell it's just #STATS?

I never said Bell was trash, he's obviously very good.

I just said I'd rather have Freeman and Coleman. Factor in age and contracts once Bell gets paid by the Steelers or someone else this offseason, and I don't think it's particularly close.

It was a bold thing to say when I said it, and those #STATS have shown me to be correct in the assertion that the Falcons backfield is, in fact, more productive.

That says more about how awesome the Falcons are than anything negative about Bell, that was the point I was making 3 months ago, and now.

Out of the last 14 AFC champs after this year--13 of them were QB'd by brady/roeth/peyton

FLACCO has been our only savior.

No they haven't. First of all your original position was that the Falcons backfield was better in 2016 ignoring age and contracts, and you would refuse a 2016-only trade of Freeman/Coleman for Bell/Williams. You shifted those goalposts after Bell started destroying the entire league by midseason. GJGE.

The $tat$ show that Bell is more productive on a per game basis than either Falcons back, and is individually a better runner or receiver than either of them, which is obviously preferable for the playoffs. Bell and any replacement level back >>> Falcons backfield.

Especially in the playoffs, it is much more valuable to have an elite runner and receiver than two decent ones. Two nickels don't make a dime. This is true in basically all sports.

Not that tough of a prediction considering the average career/peak of a running back is a few years.

Brady (and Pats obviously) making the AFC CG in 11 of the 15 years he has been a starter is probably his most ridiculous stat

if there were a bunch a RB who could do it and it was a trend, maybe - but can't see teams coaching their defenses up right before playing Pitt

Bell's style makes so much intuitive sense. Of course there will be resistance from the hit the hole as hard as you can crowd. Football is like turning around the titanic when it comes to change.

Which one is Ryan, and which one is Ben

If outdoors was so hard, Ben wouldn't have such excellent home stats by comparison to his road stats.

The Steelers OL probably not getting enough credit in the Bell discussion. I suspect Leveon wouldn't run the same way if he were behind the Rams OL because it just wouldn't work.

Yeah Big Ben + Antonio Brown to worry about + good OL makes all the difference in the world.

9ers job down to falcons offensive coordinator

and the seahawks offensive line coach. Just repeating this again... The seahawks offensive line coach.

Well, Shanahan 9ers do have a RB, that other stuff like franchise WR/some quality OL/franchise QB on the other hand...

also they don't have a GM still, which sounds hilariously dumb to hire another HC then hire a GM quickly after, but the seahawks kinda did that and in fact, they're interviewing a seahawks exec for it. I guess it has worked. Seems ridic tho.
