well guess I don't have time to field offers or a full writeup right now for this pick I might as well go with the cheapest young QB I like but most of you don't but a) I thought I'd have the worst team anyway and b) at least the thread meltdown laughing at me from outsiders should deliver.

Think I get 2 years at peanuts then can franchise the 3rd in this format. (seems like that's the goal of this draft or I'd have to consider a different pick here but whatever)

Teddy Bridgewater, QB Minnesota is the pick.

I'll take another 27 year old quarterback who's in his prime and has improved as a passer each year he's been in the league

Russell Wilson is also not in the top 5 AAV at his position (nor the top 10), and unlike Newton, he has a Super Bowl ring.

I didn't know if QBs would be popular or not early on, but I did know there were only 14 teams and Beckham wouldn't have been available coming back.

Lloyd is in Ireland, right? Not sure when he gets up and checks 2p2. TJ, did you PM him?

Heh I'm basically treating this as a fantasy draft and paying slight attention to salary cap, it's basically the only way I know how to play.

With a top pick in an NFL draft I was basically determined to come away with a QB I like. QB-driven league, and all.

OK... it's been six hours, but it's also in a time usually marked as dead time, so I don't want to be too stringent. However, Lloyd is I believe 7 or so hours ahead of the rest of us and should be able to pick reasonably soon. If he doesn't pick by the time chuckles next checks in, I'll propose that since it's still the first round, we can just skip Lloyd and eventually slot him in wherever he is when he shows up to pick. And pretty much do that for anyone in the first round.

It's been a long time since I've done one of these, so suggestions for length of pick time and dead hours would be appreciated.
