Heard a hilarious draft story today on a local Chicago radio station. Greg Gabriel was working with the New York Giants in 1996. They had the 5th pick in the draft. They had 4 players on their board that they liked and were convinced at least one would fall. So apparently there was no need to even consider any other players. Well the draft started, and it went Keshawn Johnson, K Hardy, Simeon Rice and Ogden. NYG was on the clock (15 min) and all their picks were off the board. They scrambled to trade down, but nobody was budging so they panic picked Cedric Jones. Later they found out he was blind in one eye.

I've heard people picking the wrong guy and Tampa Bay's 1982 draft story (picked wrong guy in r1, guy they wanted still available in r2, trade r1 from 83 draft which was loaded and they all knew it, guy ends up being a ridic bust) and it's less stupid than that.
