I think Manziel is a 1st round QB talent, probably should go #1 overall. What he lacks in arm strength he more than makes up for with being incredible at everything else including accuracy.

Lol no. Just no. Slim chance he goes top ten and if he does lol at the loser NFL franchise which takes him that high. His arm is way too marginal combined with his small size to go near the top ten or even the first round. He isn't super accurate either.

Mobility just isn't quite AS awesome in the NFL.

See the careers of other GREAT college QBs without pinpoint accuracy. Vince Young etc etc

On my small sample size I agree it'd be spew

His accuracy is good and his vision is incredible. The two things I want in a quarterback are pocket presence and ability to read coverages/vision and he is absolutely incredible at those.

Evans and Jake Matthews will be drafted ahead of Manziel, possibly Ogbuehi too if he declares. Hell Deshazor Everett is a 1st round talent on a D full of 10 other awful players. Of course all of those guys except Jake could come back for another year but most think they're all gone.

Johnny's arm is a little better than people think but he's lost a half a step this year for sure. Put on some weight to strengthen the arm and be more durable and he's not as explosive in 2013.

Pretty sure Cowboys are going to pick 4-6 linemen I've never heard of. Really mean it this time. There's not much else they can justify using good picks on elsewhere unless there are unexpected retirements or career-ending injuries. DT, DE, OG, OT situation needs fresh blood.

Manziei will be taken in the first round, and due to the new rookie contracts it will be pretty high.

His awareness in the pocket is very very very good. The biggest thing is his size. Listed at 6'1, I wouldn't be surprised to see him 5'11 at the draft.

Bridgewater is still the QB to beat, and IMO the #1 pick AORN. I'm really intrigued by Mariotta, a redshirt sophomore so he can be drafted this year. If Brett Hundley enters the draft he could get drafted pretty high as well, he looks good.

For a guy who could read coverages he sure threw into a lot of heavy coverage yesterday.

Manziel is not as strong-armed or as accurate as you would like to see in a high pick. His athleticism helps. Jury is still out on whether he has the good kind or bad kind of "no ****s given."

Almost had the "oh ****, no no no no" moment when Lewan got his leg rolled on yesterday.

This draft is so stacked

It's going to be interesting to see how many teams just don't have Manziel on their big board because they don't want to deal with his attitude. I wish we could see stuff like that

Teams that suck are those teams. Coaches like Childress do things like that.

I'm really pleased that the QBs are so deep this year, because I'm hoping it means Mariota comes back next year (but I still believe that he's better than many and would be taken ahead of JFF). Interesting article in the Oregonian today suggesting that JFF would be Mariota's backup if he had stayed at Oregon.

Stat of the day: Mariota has only finished 4 of the 16 games he's started at Oregon due to blowout scores.

I'm thinking top ten pick.

Clowney is probably the best player in the draft imo. Makes Mario Williams and Julius Peppers look pedestrian by comparison.

Bridgewater prob gonna go first overall though.

Interested to see if Manziel is going to be a legit NFL QB or the next Tim Tebow. Given that QBs are being overdrafted more than they ever were nowadays, we should see plenty of QBs going in the first round.

1. Clowney
2. Mariota
3. Lee

sammy watkins is probably the best wr in this draft. it's really close between him and lee. but this draft is so stacked i don't know if he'll be top 10. if it all goes perfect, we're looking at bridgewater/mariota/manziel (if a team is willing to take him) at qb in top 10, and maybe hundley and i know im missing a few more. clowney, barr. tackles always go high as well, lewan and the A&M guy forgot his name.

of course it's september, anything can change.

whoops forgot about carr's brother, tajh boyd, and fales.

obviously all these qb's won't be going top 10, but it's a very stacked draft. of course tavon went 8th so who knows, all it takes is one team falling in love

i think Watkins is a likely top-10 pick even in this draft. Lee too. I think Watkins is a better overall receiver but I haven't seen nearly as much of Lee so I don't know.

Watkins isn't better than Lee.

I'd take Watkins over Lee all day. Watkins has crazy good/strong hands and he is elite in traffic, in both snagging the ball with his hands and accelerating through a group of players. He plays way bigger than Lee even though Watkins is only a little bigger.

If Watkins was 6'5'', he'd basically be Calvin Johnson.
