I think he was being sarcastic towards nate's opinion that it is silly to play studs in preseason (I agree with this), which leads me to believe the poster I quoted thinks the idea of not playing preseason games is hogwash

I haven't been paying very close attention to the game, but other than the lol taunting call on the first drive, the replacement refs have been ok in the SD/GB game.

EDIT: Gruden is bitching about the officials now, so maybe I'm way off.
