Todd Haley hired as Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator. Great fit. The guy who looks like a homeless rapist can coach the real deal.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

Someone suggested a game between the team with the #1 pick and the team with the #2 pick and the winner gets #1. Should be a lot more interesting than the Pro Bowl especially in a year where there is a Manning re-boot up for grabs.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

Luck is overrated. The best QB (Barkley) knows this so why he deferred so he can get paid next year

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

i'd like to see some hybrid game between guys entering the draft and nfl pros but that would never happen because if some college guy tears an ACL it would be so horrible

At least I think it must be set up somehow so that there is a real incentive to play hard and to activate the WIM center of the brain for the players.

Should just do a rookies/2nd year vs 5th/6th year flag game

There would be no incentive for the qbs of the two teams to play well if the consensus #1 pick is a qb.

Re: NFL 2012 Offseason Thread

That's a good point. Things could get weird. Sam Bradford trying his best to throw away the game in a non superobivous way and his WRs that want Luck scurrying around trying to catch ****ty passes.

Or something.

he should ask cedric benson for tips on how to be a starter in the league while having legal issues AND sucking at football. benson is elite at it.

Ricky Williams retired. Glad he got to 10k before it was done. I hope he put enough away that he'll be ok after football.

I like to think he did. After screwing up his rookie contract, he probably didn't make that mistake again. And he also doesn't seem like a guy who has lots of expenses or hangers-on.
